MRI Optimize Consultants brings decades of national and international experience educating professionals and optimizing MRI department dynamics to help you achieve greater success.  We share the latest contemporary MR Protocols, scanning techniques and apply these to your MRI system. Specializing in Siemens MAGNETOM Systems our team of coaches have experience optimizing most MRI systems (including GE and Hitachi) and have optimized literally hundreds of MRI scanners. Include the Lean Imaging Center internal auditing process and you will improve productivity approximately 20%,

About Us:

Co-Founder Rosemary Fisher, ARRT(R)(CT)(MR)

With over 21 years of experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Rosemary Fisher brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to MRI Optimize Consultants. Rosemary has held positions as technologist, manager and clinical application specialist in mobile imaging and hospital environments. She was employed by Siemens Medical Solutions Inc., USA as a senior clinical applications specialist, and most recently as the MRI External Education Manager and MR Education Development Specialist.

Ms. Fisher has been instrumental in starting new MRI services at numerous facilities and training staff and physicians new to MRI. She provided on-site applications training, lead a team of classroom instructors, developed classroom course content, e-learning products and other alternative education programs such as workshops, seminars and fellowships while at Siemens Medical Solutions. She served as a temporary delegate to the MR Headquarters in Erlangen, Germany where she participated in product development, testing and training. Rosemary has presented at national technologist seminars for both Siemens Medical Solutions and Toshiba America Medical Systems.

In addition to leading the team of experts at MRI Optimize Consultants, Ms. Fisher currently serves as the Clinical Applications Specialist and content expert for Fiat-Lux Imaging, an advanced visualization software company start-up company.


Co-Founder Catherine Leyen, ARRT(R)(MR)(CV)

With over 29 years in radiology wearing many hats, many of that in MRI, Ms. Leyen brings a wealth of expertise, from new start-up imaging centers, to infant imaging centers, to fine tuning the operations of more experienced imaging centers. and optimizing MRI staff skillsets at currently operating centers.  As a Senior Applications Specialist for Siemens Medical, she spoke during breakaway sessions at the RSNA, ISMRM,  the Brigham & Womens' Harvard Conference in Scottsdale, and has instructed professional staff at many Universities, hospitals and imaging centers from coast to coast. She's worked with Dr. Nabil Dib (AZ Heart) on myoblast stem cell research MRI by being the first to successfully perform cardiac MRI in the Phoenix area; Dr. John Kurhanowicz & John Simon, MD on MRI Prostate Spectroscopy; Dr. Hugh Hixon, ALCOR cryogenics laboratories; Dr. Bruce Porter on dynamic breast MRI and being the first to bring that study to the Valley of the Sun; Dr. Harald Quick, Univ of Essen(Germany) on whole body MRI scanning and Dr. Scott Flamm now at the Cleveland Clinic; just to name a few.

Catherine took a brand new start-up imaging center (without an IDTF number, and no insurance contracts) to grossing 1.9M per month within 8 months, primarily from the MR dept.  Within 11 months, a second center was leased and started again. That company now has eighteen centers successfully operating.  Many of the streamlined business processes implemented by the MRI Optimize Consultants team were used in this company.

Ms. Leyens interests are also in Alternative Energy & Sustainability, and building businesses through targeted social media campaigns. These gals were the first in the industry to listen to the customer through a Twitter feed at mriChat.com starting in April 2009.
